I've added a music widget to the bottom of my blog. I've composed all of the songs with the help of Dubstep. None of them are very good but... whatever. Enjoy. ~Jacob

New Post
My birthday party went well. Two of my friends came at about 3:00. We chased each other through the woods. One of my friends got cuts on his legs and the other got stuck in a wood pile. Later we had a Bible study at our house. I ended up having about 8 people in my room. Three of the eight stayed over. We played a lot of halo. Watched THR3E. Went to bed at five something. Tired. Why does that sound like Japanese poetry? I'm learning Spanish. After one day I can understand and speak a few words. una niƱa bebe agua for example. ~Jacob

Just a Post
I was just reading my last post and I felt like a should post something so here I am. Tomorrow is my B-day. Hhmmm... My MLB 09 The Show game came today. Of course half my order is on a different truck. Go figure. So it's not here yet. Drum lessons are going good. I'm doing the dreaded page 38 this week. In swing. Sorry it's dinner time. Talk to you later. The Darkness truly does not understand The Light. ~Jacob

My B-dAy: FaMilY DAY
I have split my birthday into three days. My family party, my actual birthday, and my friend party. This blog post is about the family party, which was on Sunday. After church me, my mom, and my sister, drove down to my grandparent's house. After lunch. Good lunch. Ham and pineapple and whatnot... Anyway, after lunch I opened presents. You wouldn't believe the loot I made off with. Three cardboard boxes, three IOUs, and one movie... titled THR3E. It's PG-13 [See Full Rating] for violence, disturbing images and terror so if your under thirteen or hate Ted Dekker don't Click Here. For the most part it stayed true to the book so that was good. Unlike a certain C. S. Lewis book Disney's paws took the name of and gave it to an unrelated movie. Hhmmm... Oh yeah! And I got 50 bucks that I bought a PSP 3000 bundlepack with. It comes with a PSP 3000, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, MLB 09 The Show, Echocrome download, National Treasure 2 movie, 1 GB Memory card, and another cardboard box!!! School's almost done!!! ~Jacob

Bold in B
I got to see Marley and Me on Sunday. All the best parts of the movie are in the trailer.
Drove to Camden to see Camden Hills State Park. *swats at bug* Stupid mosquitoes. *mumbles* Little demon bugs *mumbles* We climbed the tower at Mount Battie. *mumbles again about not bringing the camera* Awesome view of the ocean. After that we climbed Mount Megunticook to 0.5 miles of the top. From there you have an awesome view of the ocean and Mount Battie. =D On the way up we were attacked by a snake and my dad found fool's gold. I later hid it in a bush. For lunch, as I'll call our 3:40 p.m. meal, we ate at The Lunch Wagon in Belfast. Big hit with everyone. Everything was great. While waiting for my chicken I smiled at a baby boy at another table. He responded by grabbing and than sucking on the mustard bottle at which I laughed. Blank stares from the boy.
We started a garden yesterday. By we I mean Dad and I. Peppers, tomatoes, and snow peas on the left. Pumpkins, watermelons, zucchini, cucumbers, and the like on the right.
My birthday is in 9 days.
My review (Click Here) is in the book. ~Jacob

Vaca
Vacation Journal *Caution! Not every sentence in this post is correct. I did not get the chance to write every day and got some thing messed up. Sorry*
- 8 Dogs
- 7 Squirrels
- 4 Crows
- 9 Sparrows
- 4 Geckos
- 2 Turtles
- 2 Baby alligators
- 5 Egrets
- 34 Blue Heron
- 1 Lizard
- 2 Blue Jays
- 1 Morning Doves
- 3 Dolphins
- And various digress of sea gulls, crabs, horses, and other animals.
Later... One Hot Mama was our culinary provider. It was okay. Read Nightmare's Edge. Finally got it!!!!
The graveyard was cool. Big tree covered in Spanish moss were everywhere. It was like a scene strait out of Tortuga's graveyard. (Pirates of the Caribbean Online) Minus the skeleton grave robbers. I found a palm tree seed so I get to plant it back home. It will probably die in Maine though. ;p Random: Apparently restrooms in grave yards are called "man buildings" Drove around Georgia. Finished The Christmas Sweater than had dinner. The food at Five Guys was cool. Simple yet great. Swam in the pool a little and now I'm writing this... day three...two and part of one. Yeah. 9:46 P.M. Jacob signing off.
Later: Wow! I just got back from a bike ride. There was a HUGE gator right next to me. Literally, like, 10 feet away. Oh yeah, I also added a guest book to my home page. Goodnight.
Well this is the longest post in the history of The Insanity of a Homeschooler blog. Go thing I forgot what I wanted to say... Sad ending I guess. Or maybe you're glad I forgot. Less reading for you. Oh well, I have a book to finish and a church to go to. So comes the end of a vaca in the life of an insane homeschooler. ~Jacob

Third Day!
Yeah!!! I went to the Third Day Revelation concert in the Bangor Auditorium. It was awesome! I loved Revive!(the opening act) Chorus of The Saints, Power, Promise of Tomorrow. All good songs. They did a great job of pumping up the crowd. Next came Brandan Heath. He sang an awesome song called Red Dawn or something like that. It was even better than Give me your eyes. Than came the grand attraction. Third Day! They sang alot of songs from the new album. (Of course) Even Free Bird (Not on the album. :() Overall, awesome bands, awesome concert, awesome night.

Song of the WoM-ish
Hi everyone! Before I get to the song of the month, I would like to introduce you to these guys! :D ;) :) :( :-$ :p They're a little plain but they're ALOT easyer than the smilies on the forums... <_<
I like the twist Mandisa did on this older song. The drumming is great and the electronic effect on her voice was a nice touch. The intro is great too. ~Jacob

My wonderful creation was made by cutting a potatoe into round disks and frying them in olive oil. Then I layered the potatoes, melting cheese, and bacon into this tower of taste. Fresh bazil toppped it off. =D ~Jacob

Funnies From the Forum
OK. This is something I might keep doing, or something I'll never thing about again. Funny how that works... Anyway. I'm part of a forum ---> http://www.dragonsinourmidst.com/forums <--- That one, and everyone there is insane, like me. So if you don't have the time to read the books, become a member and all that... I could post some of the funny stuff here... I could but I never said I would... OK OK Fine! I'll do it. =D
Only in America ......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
Only in America .....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
Only in America .....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
Only in America .....do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
Only in America ......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
Only in America .....do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
Ever Wonder...Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkensour skin?
Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?
Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?
Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?
Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport "the terminal"?
Tell me what you think! ;p ~Jacob

Some of the BEST books EVER
"Have you heard about the "Dragons in our Midst" books by Bryan Davis? They're an awesome Christian fantasy series, four great books that are so exciting, moving, and inspiring, you have to read them to believe it! These books honor God, and they’re changing the lives of young people all over the world, helping them walk closer to God.And now a Hollywood studio has bought the rights to make a movie! The only thing holding them back from making it is that the books aren't famous enough yet to get the financial backing they need. That's why I'm writing to you. I want everyone to know about these books. If you want to buy them and see for yourself, just go to http://www.dragonsinourmidst.com/ and you'll see several ways to get them. Maybe if they make a famous best-seller list, they'll be able to make a movie. Here are the titles: Raising Dragons, The Candlestone, Circles of Seven, and Tears of a Dragon. And now the author is coming out with a new series called "Oracles of Fire!" The first book, "Eye of the Oracle," is a prequel to the first series. You can learn more about it at the same website, http://www.dragonsinourmidst.com/ .Please pass this along to everyone in your e-mail address book! If more people get a chance to read these books, I believe thousands of teenagers will have their lives changed forever! Thank you!" ~ Bryan Davis
Bryan Davis is an awsome writer and I love his books. It would be so cool if they got turned into movies... If the director doen't changes them to much. :p ~Jacob
